Proud as a Peacock

Who doesn’t love the bold, vibrant colors of a peacock?  The recognizable, rainbow-patterned spray of blues, purples, greens, and oranges has such a proud appeal. 

When a peacock walks past you, you can’t help but acknowledge its beauty.  And, that is no different in the fashion world.  Peacock patterns definitely get you noticed in a crowded room!

A great rule to follow when using this pattern is to incorporate it as a small accessory or statement piece.  A peacock-colored broach, a headband, a pair of earrings, or a belt… all of these are great ways to let this bold pattern draw attention your way.  For example, use a simple purse pattern and make it extraordinary by using a peacock printed fabric or adding some feathered elements. And then, sit back and let the compliments come!!
