Just Beachy

The dog days of summer have come to a close and we’re already planning our wintertime excursions. A little sunshine, crashing waves, and much-needed R&R!  Just the thought of it brings on feelings of comfort and relaxation! Who says you can’t host a beach party any time of year?! Create a fun beach inspired atmosphere with one-of-a-kind embroidered sailboat napkins, placemats and a shell runner to complete your look!

What’s so amazing is that you can cultivate these same feelings of “vacation” by adding in a few elements of beach-style décor in your home or summer home.  A great way to do this is by bringing the outdoors, indoors.  Here are a few examples:

1.)  Seashells: Next time you set the table, scatter a few seashells across the table runner.  This will give a fun, “beachy” feel to your tablescape!

2.)  Beach glass:  Walk the beach looking for beautiful, colored, smooth beach glass. Put the pieces of all sizes into a bowl or vase and display it on your bathroom countertop.  Very chic!

3.)  Tree bark/branches: Tree bark or branches can be another great beach look!  Be sure to use branches or bark of a lighter variety (example: birch tree) to incorporate a summer feel in any room.  Try displaying your bark as a centerpiece or on a coffee table!
