Bringing the Outdoors, Indoors

Fall is almost here and for many crafters, this means focusing on all of the warm, earthy colors of the season.  Reds, oranges, yellows, greens and browns galore! These calming tones start to resurface not only outside our windows in nature, but also as a yearly trend in the world of those who create.  We start seeing designs focused on brightly colored trees, forest animals (squirrels, deer, bears), and leaves…the more, the merrier!   

By using an “outdoorsy” theme in your next project, all of the beauty of the season can be creatively blended into your home or workplace.  A quilt, pillow cover, placemat, or even a picture frame with this style can really deliver a “cozy” atmosphere as we transition into colder weather.
