Pom Poms can be created by using more than just the expected yarn. We thought outside of the ordinary, and used fabric strips in combinaton with yarn and pom pom fringe to create this stunning hoop pom pom wreath.

Step 1 – Making the Pom Poms
- Cut ½” to 1” wide misc fabric strips of the color tones you have chosen for your project.
- Follow the instructions on the pom pom maker. Switch out using fabric and yarn and get creative.
- Leave a long tail once you tie the pom pom at the end of each construction. The amount of pom poms you will need to fill your hoop is determined by the hoop size and pom pom size.
Step 2 – Adding Pom Poms to hoop
- Loosen the screw of the outer embroidery hoop to enlarge and create a gap from the inner hoop.
- Feed the tails of each pom pom, from front to back, in between the inner and outer hoop. Arrange and space the pom poms as you go.
- Once all pom poms are set in place, tighten the screw of the outer hoop until each tail is pinched tightly in place. Tug slightly on each tail from behind and tie off in back to hide from sight.
